About the scholarships
The Early Childhood Council (ECC) is proud to be offering 3 scholarships for our 2024 conference 'Success through Wellbeing'. This is the second year that we are offering scholarships for our annual conference.
We want to acknowledge the hard work our teachers in training have dedicated to their futures, and to the future of the profession. The conference is an invaluable opportunity for teachers in training to access leading professional development and network with potential employers and colleagues.
The scholarship includes full registration for the two-day conference programme. It does not include additional events like Gala Dinner or travel and accommodation expenses.
Applicant criteria

Applicants must currently be enrolled in an early childhood education course, in an accredited teacher training programme or currently be enrolled with a tertiary education provider for the purpose of obtaining a degree or higher early childhood qualification,

Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident or hold a valid work or study visa,

Applicants must be available to attend ECC’s Conference in Ōtautahi / Christchurch on 9 & 10 August, either for part or entirety of the event, and

One scholarship will be reserved for a Māori/Pasifika applicant.
