Growing Kiwi Gardeners helps early childhood settings enrich children’s lives through gardening. They facilitate gardening programmes and professional learning and development that supports early childhood settings to embed sustainable gardening into their curriculum. 

Based in Christchurch, Growing Kiwi Gardeners runs a hands-on gardening programme for tamariki in early childhood services. For services outside Christchurch or those unable to utilise the hands-on programme, there is a fully supported 12-month online gardening programme designed for kaiako and/or services starting out in their gardening curriculum. 

To further support kaiako and services to garden successfully, specialised professional learning and development is available through webinars, workshops, and whole-centre PLD.
